The product is designed to be easy to use and incorporates a simple push button operation. 3M™ Powered Air Respirator PF2-600E Series features an OLED display which shows the battery status and filter loading status during use as well as showing a service indicator warning if a fault condition occurs. Audible and visual alarms also alert the user to low battery or if the airflow rate falls below the target airflow rate. 3M™ Powered Air Respirator PF2-600E Series is designed to be compatible with 3M™ Versaflo™ S-Series Hoods and Headcovers including hard hat in hood options, 3M™ Versaflo™ M-Series Face shields and Helmets, 3M™ Reusable Respirator FF-300, 3M™ Reusable Respirator FF-600 and the 3M™ DT-Series range of filters. The unit has an IP 63 rating when powered on with filters and breathing tube fitted, IP 65 rating when powered off with filters and breathing tube fitted, and IP 67 with cleaning plugs fitted. This means it may be cleaned by showering when powered on and immersed in water for cleaning when cleaning plugs are fitted.
