Use Scotch-Brite™ Durable Flex Belt for tough detail work. It’s strong and flexible, designed for efficient deburring, blending and finishing on a variety of metals. Scotch-Brite Durable Flex Belts are easily identified by their purple backing, which uses aluminium oxide abrasive for a high cut-rate and strength over the lifetime of the belt. Aluminium oxide is a tough mineral that self-fractures in use, to continually create fresh cutting edges. Whereas traditional abrasives such as garnet quickly wear down with use.
