3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface Positive Control ATP10, 10 per case

The measurement of the standard concentration of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) or protein by 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface tests is used as an assurance of reagent and/or instrument function.

The test kit contains 10 ready to use reagent vials. Each vial contains 3.0 ng or 5 x10-12 moles of ATP and 1 mg of protein (Bovine Serum Albumin). A pre-moistened swab device is used to swab the ATP/Protein pellet and interior of the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface Positive Control vial. Clean-Trace Surface devices are then activated and measured as per the device instructions. The signal obtained should be above a specified level, which indicates that both the reagents and (in the case of the ATP tests) instrument are operating correctly. The unique format of this product provides the user with an ideal and convenient method of assuring that all components used during testing are operating correctly, and that the operator is using the correct method. To be used in conjunction with the 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface ATP, 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface Protein Plus, 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface Protein-High Sensitivity, 3M™ Clean-Trace™ Surface Protein (Allergen) tests to rapidly assess that both reagents and instruments (if required) are operating satisfactorily and have been stored and used correctly.
